Who we are
The controller of your personal data is SK Techs, of PAK Arab Society, Gulberg, Lahore, Pakistan. You can contact us about privacy at info@sktechs.com or on +92 336 8007788 (Pakistan) or +44 7708 568160 (UK).
The contact and demo request form
When you send the form we collect your name, email address and, if you give them, your phone number, practice or company name, country, the service you are interested in, a budget range, times that suit you and your message.
- Why: to reply to you, arrange a demo and, if you ask, prepare a quote.
- Lawful basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries about our services.
- How: the form is sent to our team inbox by email, hosted by Google. We do not add you to a marketing list unless you ask us to.
- Kept for: 24 months after our last contact, unless you become a client.
Please don't include patient or health information in the form, by email or in the chat.
The chat assistant
The chat assistant on this website is automated. What you type, the page you are on and your time zone are sent to Google's Gemini service, which generates the reply. We do not store chat conversations on our own systems; Google processes them under its Gemini API terms. Your browser keeps the conversation for the current visit only (session storage) so it survives moving between pages. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering visitors' questions quickly. Please don't share patient or health details in the chat.
If you confirm a demo booking or ask for a person in the chat, the last messages of the conversation are emailed to our team with your request, so they have the context. Nothing is sent until you tick the box and confirm.
Demo bookings and reminders
When you book a demo (on /book or in the chat) we collect your name, email, phone if given, practice or company, role, country, the service you are interested in, your meeting choice, the time and your time zone, and any notes.
- Why: to hold the time for you, send a confirmation with a calendar invite, send reminders the day before and an hour before, and let you reschedule or cancel with a private link.
- Lawful basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and your consent given when you book.
- Where: stored in our booking database on our own server, and sent by email through our email provider. Google Meet or Zoom links are shared only if you choose those.
- Kept for: 24 months after the demo date, unless you become a client or ask us to delete it sooner.
Email and phone
If you email or call us, we keep your contact details and the content of the conversation to deal with your enquiry, on the same lawful basis and for the same period as form enquiries.
Cookies and analytics
Necessary storage keeps the site working and remembers your cookie choice (stored in your browser as "sk-consent-v1"). Nothing else is set unless you choose "Accept analytics" in the cookie banner.
If you accept, we use:
- Google Analytics 4 (cookies such as _ga and _ga_*), to see which pages are visited and how people find us.
- Meta Pixel (cookies such as _fbp), to measure our Facebook and Instagram adverts.
The lawful basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time using "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page. Withdrawing removes these cookies and stops them loading.
Clients
If you become a client, we keep contract, billing and project records for 6 years after the end of the contract, for legal and tax purposes. Any patient information we process for a practice is covered by a separate written agreement with that practice, not by this policy.
Who we share data with
- Our email provider (SMTP), which delivers form, booking and reminder emails
- Google (the Gemini chat service and, with consent, Google Analytics)
- Google or Zoom, only if you choose a Google Meet or Zoom demo
- Meta Platforms (the Meta Pixel, with consent only)
- Our website hosting provider
- Professional advisers and authorities where the law requires it
We do not sell personal data.
International transfers
Our team works from Pakistan, and our service providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where personal data from the UK is transferred to a country without UK adequacy regulations, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum. Contact us for details.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data erased in certain circumstances;
